The DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival Powered by LottoStar took place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, on the 23rd & 24th of September 2023, emerged as a resounding triumph for Proudly South African SMMEs member companies. This captivating event not only excited taste buds, enhanced consumers’ fashionable moments, and set the stage for unforgettable musical performances, it also served as an unparalleled access to market opportunity for 14 SMMEs who are members of Proudly SA. For the proud sources of South African excellence, this festival proved to be a thriving platform to showcase their products and services, connecting with a diverse and enthusiastic audience, and further amplifying the nation’s rich textile of flavours and talents.

Proudly SA member companies dominated the Proudly South African Delicious Mile and Lifestyle Pavilion as their stalls showcased their offerings celebrating the country’s diverse heritage through food and lifestyle, and indeed opened access to the market for small business owners. As the sun-kissed South African landscape transformed into a vibrant hub of culture, it became evident that the annual festivity is more than just an occasion for indulgence, consumers had first-hand experience with brands such as 2 Selai, Corner Dladla Pizzeria, Memuka Plastic Mats, 100km Icons Merchandise, Cosmo Dumpling, Kota King, TM Innovations, African Mama’s Crafts, Chepa Streetwear, Yamama Gemmer, The Vegan Chef, Sumting Fresh and Afrikan Passion Designs – which  stood as a powerful catalyst for Proudly SA member companies, offering a monumental access to market opportunity that has, in turn, kindled the flames of economic prosperity for entrepreneurs which in turn has opened doors to more job creation.
