Proudly South African Local Fashion Police Competition

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This competition is open to South African citizens aged 13 years or over.
  2. This competition is not open to any director, employee, agency, prize sponsor or contractor of Proudly South African, their agencies and members of their immediate family; or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation/s or running of the competition, or their immediate family members.
  3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  4. The competition starts on Friday, 04 August 2023 and closes at 23h59 on Tuesday, 26 September 2023.
  5. Proudly South African does not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.

HOW TO ENTER

  1. The rules of the competition are as follows:
    • Entrants are to take a picture of themselves wearing locally made outfit.
    • Entrants are to post the image on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram, tag Proudly SA and the designer
    • Entrants are to also use #WearLocalEveryday and #BuyLocalToCreateJobs
  2. Proudly South African and any prize sponsors reserve the right to cancel the competition at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control and shall not be liable in anyway whatsoever to entrants in such event for any cause or action whatsoever.
  3. The prize package is as follows: Four lucky winners each get a designer outfit made by local designers worth R20 000.
  4. Winners may be required to submit photographs of themselves with the prize and they consent that such photographs can and may be shared across traditional and digital media platforms as seen fit by Proudly South African or their representatives.
  5. By accepting their prize/s, the winner/s give consent to have their photograph, full name, and province published/broadcast publicly on any media platform/s identified by Proudly South African at their discretion. No personal contact details will be displayed.
  6. Winners also understand that they may be required to model their prize at the Proudly SA Fashion Show on a date to be announced by Proudly South African.
  7. Prizes are not transferable and are not negotiable.
  8. Proudly South African reserves the right to alter rules or prizes at their own discretion. Such altered rules and prizes shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by Proudly South African. No entrant shall have any recourse against Proudly South African as a result of the alterations of the rules or prizes.
  9. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges made up of four local designers and will be announced on Proudly SA’s social media pages by 07 November 2023.
  10. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. Winners use and accept prizes at their own risk. Proudly South African and the prize sponsors (and/or their respective agencies) cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or utilizing prizes won.
  12. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
