Yonela Jeneto is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over a decade of experience in development finance and enterprise empowerment. In her current role as Funding Manager and Managing Agent for the Sasol Siyakha Enterprise and Supplier Development Trust, she is responsible for designing and implementing innovative financial solutions tailored to the needs of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), ensuring fit-for-purpose funding that drives sustainable growth. 

Her leadership in the successful implementation of the Funding Diversification Project transformed the Siyakha Trust’s funding model, moving beyond traditional loan structures to introduce impact-driven, tailored financial solutions and post-investment support for Sasol’s small business suppliers. Landmark achievements of the project include the introduction of dedicated Women Empowerment Finance, amplifying financial access for women entrepreneurs, and interest-free purchase order funding for supplier SMEs. Focused on breaking down systemic barriers, these solutions are designed to accelerate access to affordable capital, fostering economic inclusion for historically disadvantaged small businesses.
